1. What we use
We use cookies and local storage for security, session continuity, preferences, and optional analytics and partner attribution.
2. Cookie categories
- Strictly necessary: required for sign-in, security, and core product operation.
- Analytics: optional measurement cookies/local storage, enabled only after consent.
- Marketing/partner attribution: optional referral tracking, enabled only after consent.
3. Consent controls
A cookie preference banner is available on first visit. It supports Accept, Reject, and Manage preferences. A permanent Cookie preferences control is available in the site footer so you can update your choices later.
Optional analytics and partner attribution remain off until consent is given. Rejecting them does not prevent you from creating an account or using the app. You can withdraw consent through the same preferences control.

Local storage is also used for product preferences, onboarding state, saved UI choices and browser caches of workspace data. Optional first-party analytics sends page and feature events to PropertyScout after analytics consent; the cookie table does not imply that a third-party analytics cookie is installed. These controls do not replace your cookie consent choices.
5. Third-party technologies
Stripe may set cookies during payment flows for fraud prevention and payment processing. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe under Stripe's Cookie Policy.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies via browser controls. If you block necessary cookies, parts of sign-in and account access may stop working correctly.
