Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of the PropertyScout website and app (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
“PropertyScout”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the company behind the Service. Contact: info-contact@propertyscout-ai.com.
2. The Service
PropertyScout is a software tool that helps users discover, organise and analyse property opportunities using publicly available information and user-provided assumptions. We may add, remove or change features over time to maintain security, performance, and compliance.
The Service depends on third-party sources (property portals, maps, pricing data, etc.). If a third party changes access or availability, parts of the Service may degrade, change, or stop.
3. No advice, no guarantees
PropertyScout does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or regulated advice. Any outputs (scores, yields, ROI, forecasts, “deal” labels, or comparable estimates) are informational tools and may be wrong. You are solely responsible for your decisions and due diligence.
We do not guarantee outcomes, performance, profitability, deal volume, or that any listing is investable. Property investment carries risk.
See Disclaimer for the risk and responsibility statement.
4. Accounts and access
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for activity on your account.
- We may suspend or restrict accounts for suspected abuse, fraud, security risk, or breaches of these Terms.
- We may impose usage limits to protect the Service and third-party dependencies (rate limits, queue limits, etc.).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, paywalls, or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where law permits).
- Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or republish third-party content unlawfully.
- Resell, white-label, sublicense, or repackage the Service without written permission.
- Use bots/automation to access the Service in a way that is not “human-like” or that harms reliability.
- Use the Service in a way that breaches third-party terms or applicable law.
6. Plans, billing and Stripe
Paid access may be offered via subscription plans or one-time purchases (for example “lifetime”). Pricing and plan features are described on our pricing page and/or checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe or our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- You are responsible for taxes and charges applied by your payment provider or bank.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refunds Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service (software, UI, branding, scoring logic, documentation) is owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing.
Third-party content remains owned by its respective owners. The Service does not transfer any rights in third-party listing content to you.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, third-party outages, and infrastructure failures can happen. We may modify or discontinue features to stay compliant, secure, and operational.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other users. Where feasible, we’ll give notice, but we may act immediately for security, fraud, or abuse.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law (for example, fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence). Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses (including lost profits, missed deals, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or business interruption).
- We are not liable for decisions you make based on outputs from the Service.
- Our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 3 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim (or, if less, £100).
11. Privacy
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and use cookies/local storage as described in our Cookie Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
