1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You must provide accurate account and billing information.

2. What the Service does

PropertyScout is software for property research, review, and underwriting workflows. It helps users organise opportunities and make faster decisions using structured outputs.

Outputs are informational and depend on source data, assumptions, and user inputs. You remain responsible for your decisions and due diligence.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

• You are responsible for account security and all activity under your account.
• You must not bypass paywalls, rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• You must not use the Service for unlawful scraping, abuse, fraud, or infringement.
• We may suspend access where needed to protect users, providers, or platform integrity.

4. Billing, renewals, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed through Stripe (or another approved payment provider).

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for part-used billing periods except where required by law or where we agree a refund is appropriate.
• Non-payment or failed payment may result in access suspension until payment is resolved.

This is a digital service. Access and performance begin immediately once access is granted.

5. Refunds and one-time purchases

Our refund approach is set out in the Refunds Policy.

One-time purchases are generally non-refundable after access is granted, except where required by law.

6. Changes to plans, pricing, and terms

We may modify features, plans, pricing, or these Terms as the Service evolves.

• Where practical, we provide notice by email and/or in-app messaging.
• Price changes apply from the next renewal cycle after notice.
• Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

7. Third-party services and data sources

• Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Infrastructure may include Vercel, Vultr, Neon, and other service providers.
• Support and system communications may use third-party email providers.
• Some product features may use third-party AI providers.
• We are not affiliated with property portals or listing sites.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, software, branding, and workflow materials are owned by the operator of PropertyScout or its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your account is in good standing.

9. Disclaimer and responsibility

PropertyScout does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All outputs are informational. You must independently verify assumptions, title, planning, licensing, rents, and condition.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with the Service is limited to the total fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or GBP 100 if higher).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
